Earl Warren was born on March 19th, 1891, in Los Angeles, California. He was born into father Matt Warren, a Norwegian immigrant, and mother Christine Hernlund, a Swedish Immigrant. In September 1953, Warren got a higher position after the death of Chief Justice Fred M. Vinson. Earl Warren was issued with the racial segregation in public schools. In May 1954, he wrote his opinion on the Brown V. Board of Education case. The case won the 1896 Supreme Court decision that allowed racially segregated facilities on trains and in public schools. He thought they were unequal. After that people were against Earl Warren writing on boards "Impeach Earl Warren". However, the Supreme Court forced Kansas and other states with segregated schools to change their schools systems and end the segregation. His influence and support in the Supreme Court made a huge difference in the Civil Rights Movement.
