Sit ins
African Americans would sit against stores, public places they were not allowed to be in because they wanted to show Americans they deserve equality. They want to earn respect, they want to be noticed as well. African Americans would fight for freedom and to end segregation. They had their will and power to do so by their believe and their united groups and leaders to help them make a difference in their lives.
Protesting
Protesting is even common today. Thousands of people gathering to make a difference and change in the world due to their belief that equality needs to happen. Protesting makes them seem confident and powerful, making a scene in places and showing the whites their confidence in themselves. Showing the government the presidents that they will not stop until they get their fair rights and equality just like every other person in America
