Political Change in the United States due to the Civil Rights Movement
One huge political change due to the Civil Rights Movement was hiring of jobs for blacks, colored people. This change led to better job opportunities. Black organizations were arising and they joined forces with labor unions and politicians. After the civil rights movement, educated blacks were allowed to work in upper class jobs, they could have a say in politics and contribute in discussions towards American society, they were treated better because they had a right to vote like any other citizen in America. They could be lawyers, businessmen, and own land and houses. They had more freedom to become what they wanted from the beginning of their fight towards citizenship. When the Civil Rights Movement ended better education was given to black people/colored people and therefore more blacks could make a change and upgrade and bring their beliefs and better environmental changes into effect because they are allowed to have a say in the government.
