The Results of The Civil Rights Movement for Colored People
The civil rights movement was a successful movement because it had big and effective changes towards black people. However others were also affected by this change, it soon helped women, voting equality, and other problems Americans had. Due to the protesting and high voting of the issue the Supreme Court changed Plessey and ended separate but equal segregation. The 15th Amendment gave Blacks the right to vote, making them appreciate years of fighting and making a big change for them. It helped them gain self confidence and make a change in their lives.
