Supporters of The Civil Rights Movement
The people who supported the civil rights movement majority of them were blacks, African Americans, or colored people. Their leaders led them to believe that change could happen in America. Some Americans living in segregation were unpleased with segregation against colored people, unfairness, unequality, and protesting that caused many problems. African Americans protesting and gathering boycotts/ rallies and etc caused white people to think, look, and go against segregation, joining the African Americans in protests and gatherings. Many American saw unfairness when even schools had segregation in them. African Americans joined together and believed that segregation must end. Supporters of the Civil Rights Movement wanted to make a scene in America, get the attention they deserved, by protesting with signs, forcing people to look, participating in sit ins which caused many attention to media, and gathering thousands of people, African American and white, in speeches of their leaders fighting and listening on their progress and excitement of getting to their goal.
